STILL ALIVE: Long Live The PS2

PS2 is just about the only past/current-gen console that's still kicking. It's the software, of course, that sells hardware and to name a few games that will probably stand up shoulder-to-shoulder rivaling the next-gen games:

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
Just insert the disk and you'll know that you have one hell of a mind-blowing story that probably surpasses the first game. Hell, even the battle system and exploring are way better than what originally was a high-bar by which other games are measured.

Okami
There hasn't been a game that was called a-Zelda-game before (except actual Zelda games, of cource). Does this mean that this game is just an imitation? Hell no! I believe that comparing Okami to Zelda is just as unfair as it is honoring.

Final Fantasy XII
The game we've all been waiting for for ages (since FFX was released in 2001). It's survived the delays and proven to be perfect (got a perfect 40/40 in the famous Japanese games magazine, Famitsu).

God of War II
The anger, the awesomeness and the a$$ kicking multiplied, expanded and laid on a grand story within a mythical world where the sky is not even close to being the limit.

To make a long blog short, I'll just list the remaining: God Hand, Yakuza, Xenosaga III, Disgaea 2, SOCOM, Dawn of Mana... and the list goes on and on...

Note: If you have a problem with the list above mostly being a bunch of sequels, then you have a problem with games.

Senior Project

As a group of six senior undergraduates of Software Engineering at KFUPM, we are working on designing an implementing a web-based job opportunities searching/matching system. I am the Test Engineer (though we all contribute to all of our weekly deliverables).

I added a link to my team's web site, Thunder Team (we tried to convince our site-admin/documentation-specialist to change the name but...).
