WINDS OF CHANGE: GAMES MARKET

PS2 slim

Nationwide video games retail stores are pushing the market forward at haste. I really don't think that stopping importing PS2 games right now is much of a clever move. PS2 is still alive and kicking, selling more than XBOX 360 and PS3 worldwide. This is just a silly action that prevents the consumers from moving to next-gen at their own pace. Besides, PS3, a next-gen machine, is backward-compatible with PS2 games.

Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s

Games like Odin Sphere, GrimGrimoire, Tomb Raider Anniversary and Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s (just to name a few) are coming to PS2 but, apparently, we do not need such great games here anymore. The state of PS2 here in Saudi Arabia market (and the Gulf area?) as a result of this move is: K.I.A. (killed in action).

GrimGrimoire

"... they went to university because someone, at a time when universities seemed important, said that, in order to rise in the world, you had to have a degree. And thus the world was deprived of some excellent gardeners, bakers, antique dealers, sculptors and writers." ~The Witch of Portobello

P.S. Seems I accidentally deleted my previous post on Thursday, June 7th: The Witch of Portobello. Sorry.
