POST-A-WEEK: BRIDA

Brida by Paulo Coelho

Instead of reading The Winner Stands Alone, I started reading Brida last week. Both novels are products of my favorite writer, Paulo Coelho.

Jenson Button

Shifting gear to the one sport I care about, Formula 1, where championship leader Jenson Button has increased his lead to 15 points in Singapore Grand Prix. The Button started 11th on the grid and was 5th to finish the race. With three more races to go, Jenson still has the highest chance of winning the title. Could he seal it next race in Japan by winning 5 points more than his team-mate and title-rival Rubens Barrichello?

POST-A-WEEK: HOLIDAY

The Winner Stands Alone by Paulo Coelho

Paulo Coelho is my favorite writer and his The Zahir novel of obsession is my favorite of his works. I have had his newest The Winner Stands Alone for a few months now but I have yet to read a single line from it. With a bit of luck, this will change soon as I intend to start and complete reading it during the Eid Fitr holiday (happy Eid everyone).

On another note, I had a weird dream a few days ago. I dreamed that MGS4 finally received its Trophy fix and it was just as I hoped: only related to MGS4 and not a single trophy was related to MGO.

Keeping the best for last, the Brawns are back as both drivers were on the podium in Monza (I guess sometimes you just need to press a Button). Four more races remain in this year's F1 calendar and Jenson has a lead of fourteen points ahead of his title-rival and teammate Rubens Barrichello. Only 11 days and four hours separate us from the next race in Singapore Grand Prix.

p.s. this is next week's post, only delivered to you a few days earlier because of the holiday.

POST-A-WEEK: A COLD DAY IN HELL

Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii

I got my copy of Muramasa: The Demon Blade last night and I cant wait to get back home and put some more time into this great game. I also saw some 50$ PSN cards, which made me happy till I found out that they are being sold for 280SR (around 75$) which is about 8$ more than what it cost me to import a couple months ago.

I have been enjoying Batman: Battle for the Cowl the past few days and I must admit that I am loving it so much that I want more Comics though I haven't finished this one yet. I am specifically interested in the Dark Knight especially after finishing both Arkham Asylum.

In memory of the loss of Imam Ali, my consolidations go to all Muslims every human being who is alive, was alive, or will live.
