I just got my XBOX 360 last Wednesday. It cost me about 800$, but it's worth it. I was hesitating whether to buy it or not since I didn't have an HDTV, but still I enjoyed the machine. I got Dead or Alive 4, Perfect Dark Zero, and Ninja Gaiden (I never bought an XBOX). I plan on buying Halo 2 today. Unfortunately, I'm at my colleage now and I left my 360 back at home. I will bring it this weekend, though. I am looking forward to the release of The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion next month, March. Though nothing is official till this point; I'm confident it will be released in March.

I cannot wait till May where we get to see PlayStation 3 and Revolution at E3. They are so gonna rock. And they will be playable; they simply have to.

I didn't blog for a while, so here are somethings that I liked while surfing the net tonight:

"...if you've ever wanted to try FFXI, but couldn't find the right hardware, or are looking for an exceptionally deep MMO, Final Fantasy XI is among the best. It's stylish and features more attention to detail than most other MMOs, and benefits from years of polish and finesse." - James Mielke, 1UP

"...they are prepared to give playable demos of Nintendo's next-generation console, the Revolution. He went on to say that considerations are being made to secure the innovative controllers against theft, and the monitor-mounted technology that lets gamers point at images onscreen may be shielded so that attendees won't accidentally set off events on their neighbors' screens." - Jane Pinckard, 1UP

To me, E3 2006 = PS3 + Revolution

One place. One entire industry waiting for you. It's E3 2006.

  • Mark your calendar as E3 will be opening its doors May 10-12, 2006
    Los Angeles Convention Center
  • Conference Program: May 9th—11th
    Expo: May 10th—12th

Things are getting more and more interesting at Naruto chapter 293. Naruto: Clash of Ninja will be released sometime during March on Nintendo GameCube. I believe that fans of Anime\Manga will love it.

They started the English version of Kojima-san's podcast (check the link HIDEOBLOG). I did not expect it to be this early though. They also announced Metal Gear Digital Comics (working title) to be on PSP. It should be out sometime this year. Also, they are giving Metal Gear Saga vol. 1 DVD for those who pre-order Metal Gear 3: Subsistance which is going to be released in March along with Metal Gear AC!D 2. The pre-orders should start around mid February.

I am reading Game Design: The Art & Business of Creating Games by Bob Bates these days. I'm afraid that I won't be able to finish it befor I go back to college in a week since I'm a bit busy.
